ACEBE surfaced out of a desire to help others lead happier, more fulfilling, and balanced lives. We are two certified Tantric Hatha Yoga and Meditation teachers with a passion for all things yogic and spiritual.
On a mission to help others find their center, we make ancient traditional yogic teachings and techniques approachable so you can relax and experience ‘real Yoga’ on and off the mat.
What do we mean by ‘real Yoga’? The kind of Yoga spanning thousands of years of history and that truly takes you inwards; a Yoga practice reaching far beyond physical poses to bring you in touch with the depth of who you are inside. We follow the teachings of the Sri Vidya lineage and the Himalayan Institute, as taught to us by our teachers.
ACEBE —the Zulu term for ‘the richest’— is a form of immaterial wealth essential for personal fulfillment. We at ACEBE believe that true wealth is always already at our disposal, requiring only the ability to identify harmful patterns and behaviors and implement new routines to enhance pour overall wellbeing.
The route we take in helping you develop healthier habits can vary because different people require different approaches, which explains why we put so much effort into devising the best strategy for you.
From one-on-one Yoga to group classes, meditation, workshops, trainings, or Vedic counseling, our services are designed to tap into your mind, body, and spirit to ignite healthy balance. Our focus: the achievement of sustainable and long-lasting effects through personalized solutions that will enable you to really enjoy leading a more conscious and active life.
WHAT PEOPLE SAY
"Thank you Jonas. You gave us some really amazing insights that brought clarity and understanding to quite a complex journey such as Yoga and meditation."
ALBA DE BEJAR, PHD.
I'm a certified traditional Hatha Yoga Teacher (RYT200) and Vedic Counselor, specialized in Intuitive Counseling. My background, however, lies in academia, where I have worked for 10+ years as a university researcher and lecturer. The recipient of a Fulbright and a Marie Curie ITN fellowship, I have a PhD. in the Humanities, a specialization in Gender and Race studies, and several years' experience in the private sector as a Healthcare Consultant, Headhunter, and freelance Editor and Translator.
In my work at ACEBE, I use my eclectic background and depth of insight to help clients find a measure of perspective towards past, present, and future events in their lives. Whether you are looking to let go of something, gain greater clarity about your present situation, or simply center yourself in life, there is much to be gained in slowing down a little to get in touch with your truth, to know who you really are.
Trimming off all the layers of acquired or forced social convention is an exercise requiring both effort and commitment –one for which the type of experience I facilitate can make all the difference. So, if you think you would like to learn how to "flow with the interbeing of all things" and "find stillness in life" (Sills 2011) drop me a line. I’d be very happy to help you find the tools you need to lead a more mindful and fulfilling life.
I'm a certified Tantric Hatha Yoga Teacher (RYT500/E-RYT200) currently sharing my passion for Yoga and Meditation at The Practice Bali. A former professional 400-meter runner and Pro-sports athlete for 12+ years, I have a BA from the German Sports University in Köln, an MA in Media Management and Entrepreneurship from the University of Fresenius, and a Bronze medal from the 2012 European Championships. The height of my Pro-sports career, however, was my participation in the London 2012 Olympics as part of the German 4x400 Relay Team.
Since then, my life has taken a very different turn, replacing daily running for daily Yoga practice and a great deal of self-study and self-contemplation. Still, my knowledge of sports science, anatomy, and nutrition helps me provide the type of practical support many students need to approach the needs of body, mind, and soul.
One thing you learn when you work so long with body-based practices is that any physical endeavor requires equal amounts of mental and emotional preparation. This is true whether you are an athlete preparing for an important competition or just someone coming daily to the mat to practice Yoga.
